A must have app for all employers, foreign employees, agents, or anyone who wishes to verify if a work pass card issued by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is valid.

Scan it to check it
A work pass could be cancelled before it expires as employment status can change over time. When this happens, the pass holder is not allowed to continue working in Singapore. Simply launch the SGWorkPass app to scan the QR code of a work pass card and you can verify its validity instantly.

To support the needs of pass holders, the app will be continuously improved with new features and useful information to support their working and living in Singapore.

What is it

SGWorkPass is an app that allows you to easily verify the validity of MOM-issued passes, such as:

  • Work passes
  • Long-term passes (e.g. Dependant’s Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass)
  • Special Passes (issued to pass holders assisting in investigations, attending court proceedings, or settling salary or work injury claims)

Simply launch the SGWorkPass app to scan the QR code on the work pass card to verify its validity instantly. Work Permit holders and migrant domestic workers (MDWs) can also check their salary information.

As a work pass holder, you should set up the SGWorkPass app using your Singpass login details. Once you have set up the app, you can:

  • Directly view your work pass details without scanning the QR code on the card.
  • Receive notifications from MOM which are unique and relevant to you.

You should register for Singpass or reset your Singpass if you do not have your Singpass account ready.

With the SGWorkPass app available in different languages, services will be more accessible to you now.

More features will be added to the app to support your stay and employment in Singapore, so keep it updated.

Service providers do not need to set up their SGWorkPass app to verify validity of passes.
